Semiconductor Services Company Acquires 2 Dallas-Fort Worth Industrial Properties
Semiconductor services and chemical logistics company Rinchem recently announced its acquisition of two chemical warehouses in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro from LeSaint Logistics (another company operating in the same industry) for an undisclosed amount. Rinchem said it expected to retain all of the LeSaint employees who work in the two industrial properties.
The acquisition brings Rinchem’s number of properties in the Metroplex to three, as the company already owns and operates a warehouse in West Dallas. The Albuquerque, N.M.-based company also has two other warehouses in the Austin metro. In addition to its locations in select U.S. markets, Rinchem also operates facilities in Asia and Europe.
The transaction is the latest in a series of major industrial deals highlighting DFW as one of the growing logistical and manufacturing hotspots in Texas. Among the biggest industrial deals in the market this year are the sale of a 1-million-square-foot warehouse fully leased to Amazon and the purchase of a Mesquite industrial park by a New York-based investor. Moreover, according to CommercialEdge’s November Industrial Report, Dallas-Fort Worth is leading the list of industrial markets in terms of new supply, with more than 35 million square feet under development — or 4.3% of the market’s current stock.

The double purchase is the latest move in Rinchem’s expansion. In August, the company announced a partnership with one of the largest semiconductor manufacturers in the world. The partnership will allow Rinchem to manage the manufacturer’s supply chain operations and expansion into Arizona — the site of one of Rinchem’s latest warehouse acquisitions.
